Singapore, 27th October 2009–The online entertainment leader in Southeast Asia, Asiasoft Online today announces the launch of the Worldwide Closed Beta Testing (“CBT”) for Warriors of the 3 Kingdoms SEA (http://www.W3KSEA.com) from 27th October to 2nd November 2009.
Asiasoft Online is proud to present Warriors of the 3 Kingdoms (W3KSEA), the first English Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) based on the well-known Chinese Literary Classic, Romance of the Three Kingdoms (三国演义).
Previously, games based on the popular novel were available only in Chinese. With the launch of this English version of W3KSEA, Asiasoft Online hopes to cater to the needs of gaming communities worldwide. Apart from the visually stunning skill effects and combat sequences, it also offers gamers the choice of using both keyboard and mouse, or a joypad, to join in the epic power struggles between the three nations.

For the first time, there will be two separate phases in CBT: Level Achievement Challenge and Various Wars Try-Out. In Level Achievement phase, gamers who reach a minimum of level 25 will get to retain their character’s in-game name (IGN), and rewarded with W3KCash and in-game currency at the start of Open Beta Testing (OBT).
In Various Wars Try-Out, gamers will receive a new higher-level character to partake in the various wars at scheduled timings. There will be three different wars – Resource War, Nation War and Uprising War, for players to be part of the historical battles and experience the engaging and immersive W3KSEA environment. During one of the Resource Wars, Game Masters (GMs) will join in the fun while imparting a few tips and tricks to gamers at the same time.
Gamers can now create their W3KSEA game accounts via the W3KSEA website, with the DVD game client sent via postal mail shortly after. The client is also downloadable via various channels on the W3KSEA game site. Alternatively, gamers can also visit selected @Cash retail outlets to obtain the game clients (While stocks last!).
