SINGAPORE, November 12, 2009 – After an extremely successful Closed Beta Testing (“CBT”), Asiasoft Online—the online entertainment leader in Southeast Asia—is proud to announce the official launch of the English version of the Warriors of the 3 Kingdoms SEA (“W3KSEA”).

Through a W3KSEA Alpha Sneak Peek event held in October 2009, Asiasoft Online generated buzz for W3K amongst the gaming community when members of prominent guilds from various MMORPG games were invited to have a first look at W3K. Online viral marketing for W3K was also carried out through various social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to hype up W3K, leading to gamers enquiring about the game and even requesting for its game client before its CBT official date was announced.

Within a month of the viral marketing campaign, the public snapped up all 20,000 DVD game clients from partner retail outlets and road shows across Singapore. Over 2,000 DVD game clients were also delivered to gamers who had previously requested for a copy through W3K’s official website. Last but not least, in a collaborative effort between Asiasoft Online and MMOsite, more than 1,000 exclusive beta item codes were given out a week prior to the CBT to maintain the gamers’ continued interest in W3K.

“We will like to thank the online gaming community for their kind support and feedbacks during the CBT period,” said Mr Ng Kok Khwang, Marketing Director for Asiasoft Online, “As a way to express our utmost gratitude, we will be holding the first ever open W3KSEA tournament during our massive year-end celebration – ‘An Asiasoft Christmas Event’ at Suntec City Tropics Atrium on 19th December 2009. We look forward to the community to make use of this opportunity to mingle and build bond at the event.”

As part of its efforts to reach out to the gaming community, Asiasoft Online will be holding “An Asiasoft Christmas Event” on 19th – 20th December 2009 at Suntec City Tropics Atrium, Singapore. In recognition of the gamers who have supported W3K, the event will feature the first ever open W3KSEA tournament.

Free W3K game accounts can now be created via the Asiasoft Passport at http://passport.asiasoft.net/ and the game client can be downloaded at the official W3KSEA website at http://w3k.playpark.net/.
