Position Available : Product Specialist (Game Planning)
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for localized game contents design, direction and implementation to better suit the tastes of regional consumers.
• Responsible for proposing in-game and web-based content or events to enhance the game experience and maintain usage.
• Facilitate communications between developer and Technology team to coordinate in the implementation of game updates.
• Research and monitor industry, competitive, and market trends.
• Manage and aggregate game data to keep track of user trends to increase the user base.
• Analyze statistic and forecast festive or special events to maximize micro transactional sales potential in the game.
• Identify and propose strategic ideas for online customer acquisition and increase sales.
• Manage the efforts of developer and internal departments such as IT, Web, Marketing/PR, Customer Service, towards ensuring deliverables related to the product goal are met on a timely basis.
• Provide comprehensive weekly and monthly reports to the team leader and to other departments, keeping them abreast of project progress and major issues.
• Maintain product quality through content testing process and prioritizing bug fixes for the developer.
• Other Ad-hoc duties include, but not limited to:
o Perform various writing duties and conceptualization of website and forum news.
o Review the quality of translated scripts.
o Demonstrates game features to other internal departments, and outside co-promotional and media partners when required.
Job Requirements
• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 – 3 years of relevant working experience
• Ability to execute initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle and maintain highly confidential information in an appropriate manner.
• Ability to handle multiple projects yielding high quality results while solidly meet deadlines
• Knowledge of industry trends with broad experience in different types of online games and understands both the web and game audience.
• Must be willing to work additional hours as necessary
• Must be willing to travel occasionally
• Excellent written and verbal communication and diplomacy skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and other communication tools.
• Highly creative and organized, reliable, result-oriented, disciplined person
• Ability to read/write Korean is a plus
